Forensic Psychologist   

Dr. Jenna Turner is a licensed forensic psychologist with a doctorate in Health Service Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department and a predoctoral internship at the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department. Additionally, Dr. Turner holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University and is pursuing a license to provide sex offender treatment, alongside specialized training in the assessment and treatment of youth with problematic sexual behaviors. 

Dr. Turner specializes in formal assessments related to personality, social/emotional functioning, intellectual/cognitive functioning, and academic performance. She has extensive experience conducting fitness-to-proceed evaluations, psychosexual assessments, and evaluating neurodevelopmental disorders. Her areas of interest also include the therapeutic and formal assessment of childhood trauma and related interpersonal difficulties. 

At Optima Forensic, Dr. Turner provides a variety of services including child custody evaluations, fitness-to-proceed evaluations, psychosexual evaluations, and comprehensive assessments related to personality, cognitive functioning, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
