Licensed Professional Counselor 

Kasey Byrd is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong background in supporting individuals through trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling, a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. 

Kasey takes an eclectic therapeutic approach, integrating person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and EMDR techniques to meet each client’s unique needs. She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, while also providing compassionate, effective care to clients of all ages. 

At Optima Forensic, Kasey provides both court-ordered and recommended individual therapy, with a particular focus on trauma-informed care. She is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients can heal and grow.
