Siji John, PhD
Forensic Psychologist
Dr. Siji Lizza John is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience working across clinical and forensic settings. Her professional background includes serving diverse populations in inpatient, custodial, and community-based environments. Dr. John earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and went on to complete her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at Sam Houston State University.
Dr. John has conducted a wide range of forensic evaluations, including competency to stand trial, sanity evaluations, civil law assessments, personal injury evaluations, and fitness to proceed evaluations for both adults and youth. Her experience spans work with justice-involved individuals, community-based clients, and children and families requiring psychological assessments.
Since joining the Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department (HCCSCD) in 2013, Dr. John has served as a Clinical Evaluator and, as of 2020, a member of the Executive Team. She currently oversees the Centralized Assessment and Screening Team (CAST), Outpatient Counseling, and the Felony Mental Health Court Program—bringing a leadership focus to mental health services in the justice system.
